As a young kid, Shook saw a light falling from the sky. It was the same night he stumbled on a pair of mysterious looking sun glasses. Upon picking them up, a strange feeling came over him. He didn't know what it was, but it felt as if someone - or something - was lurking in the dark, watching him. Read on...
As you all might know a lot of remixes are being hold back. Good news though, recently I had the opportunity to remix the awesome duo Electric Youth! The duo had a release over at the Valerie camp. The Remix is ready for me, you and everyone we know.
I am really great full about the people supporting the music. The Kool Kids are following me from day 1! They made a really cool article about the Amstereo night that was held on Saturday the 27th of February.
-’I remember Rise and Fall being remixed into Justice’s Genesis, followed up by The Chemical Brothers mixed into a track I couldn’t yet identify. All in all, it seems Amstereo did well inviting Shook as even though his set only lasted 45 minutes, it was worth the 2-3 hour trip I had to make to be there.’
Pictures of the night were also covered by the people from the GET YOUR PLANE RIGHT ON TIME blog!
Thanks goes out to the people from Amstereo to make this all happen again.
Sugar-Bytes is an awesome company that makes really great audio plugins and effect tools. I’m really a fan of their products. I recently had the chance to make a video for them of their Effectrix plugin. Basically all the keys are linked to different audio effect patterns. When you know which pattern is on which key, the musical possibilities are endless. Other Sugar-Byte users are Boys Noize, Siriusmo, Jackson & His Computer Band and Modeselektor.
The 27th of February I will be playing for AMSTEREO again along side TWR72 , Mr. Wix and Jack de La!
Hope to see you all there.
Btw, Isn’t this a strange coincidence? The very first time I played there was at the exact same date, only a different year. Someone is controlling this universe. Beast says grrrrr. This can only be a good sign.. right?
Quick press! So, you all know I got to remix the awesome UK Band Heads We Dance right? Well, If you don’t know now you know. Also, I had the honor of making a Top 5 for their blog about what ever I want to. So I decided I titled it:
Didn’t even know this till today. The remix I did for Division Kent is officially available on iTunes now!
Speaking of remixes… Some are being held back because of official announcements, some are still awaiting approval etc. So I can’t give them away at this very moment. Beast is dying to give them away though, and so am I..
Yeah, this sucks ass. So to be short, facebook doesn’t support the option to change facebook type. I had it set on other type business person nonsense, but I should have chosen ‘musician’ of course. The reason I changed is because of all pages are different, and musician type page comes with all these cool musician type of options and what not.
